    From the center of Whitefish, start at the intersection of Central Avenue and 2nd Street. Head north on 2nd Street towards Baker Avenue. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach Baker Avenue. Turn right onto Baker Avenue and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection of Baker Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue, turn left onto Wisconsin Avenue. After about 0.2 miles, you will arrive at the entrance to Whitefish Lake. Follow the path leading to the waterfront.

  • Biking

    Rent a bike from a local bike shop in Whitefish, such as Great Northern Cycle & Ski. From the shop, head east on Central Avenue and then north on 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd Street until you reach Baker Avenue. Turn right onto Baker Avenue and ride for approximately 0.3 miles. At the intersection with Wisconsin Avenue, take a left, and follow Wisconsin Avenue for about 0.2 miles. You will find a bike path leading to Whitefish Lake on your right. Park your bike at the designated bike racks before enjoying the lake.
