    Starting from downtown Whitefish, head west on Central Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street. Walk until you reach the intersection with Baker Avenue. Turn right onto Baker Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with W Lakeshore Drive, turn left. The entrance to Whitefish Lake State Park will be on your right side after about 0.3 miles. The address is 1615 W Lakeshore Dr, Whitefish, MT 59937.

    If you have a bike, start from downtown Whitefish at the corner of Central Avenue and 2nd Street. Head west on Central Avenue, then turn left onto 3rd Street. Continue to Baker Avenue and turn right. Follow Baker Avenue as it curves into W Lakeshore Drive. The park entrance will be on your right after about 0.3 miles. This route is approximately 1.5 miles and is suitable for biking.

    To reach Whitefish Lake State Park via public transportation, take the Flathead County Transit bus from the Whitefish Depot. Board the bus heading towards Kalispell and inform the driver that you want to get off at the intersection of Baker Avenue and W Lakeshore Drive.
