From the center of Bar, head to the main bus station located on Ulica 29. Novembar. Take the bus heading towards Virpazar. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Virpazar, exit the bus and follow the signs to Lake Skadar. You may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the lake, and you can ask locals for directions to the Grmožur Fortress, which is located on the lake.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Bar. Start at the waterfront promenade and head towards the road that leads to Virpazar. Follow the road signs towards Lake Skadar. The ride is about 15 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the countryside. Once you reach Virpazar, continue towards the lake and ask locals for directions to the Grmožur Fortress.
