Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Žabljak. Head south on the main road (E65) towards the Durmitor National Park. Follow the signs for Bobotov Kuk. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the parking area at the start of the hiking trail. Park your car here and prepare for your hike.
Public Transportation
To reach Bobotov Kuk by public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Žabljak to the Durmitor National Park entrance. Buses usually run several times a day. Once you arrive at the entrance, you will need to hike approximately 10 kilometers to reach the base of Bobotov Kuk. Look for the marked hiking trails that lead you directly to the peak.
Hiking
From the parking area, start your hike on the marked trail towards Bobotov Kuk. The trail is well-maintained, but be prepared for some steep sections, especially as you approach the summit. It typically takes about 3-4 hours to reach the top, depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
