Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Žabljak, which is well-signposted from the main roads in Montenegro. Once you reach Žabljak, continue on the main road (P14) heading east. Look for signs directing you to the Durmitor National Park. Katun Camp Durmitor is located along P14. After approximately 5 kilometers from the center of Žabljak, you will see the camp on your right. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Katun Camp Durmitor via public transportation, take a bus to Žabljak from Podgorica or other nearby towns. Upon arriving at the Žabljak bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi. Walking will take approximately 1 hour; head east on the main road (P14), following the signs towards Durmitor National Park. If you prefer a taxi, expect to pay around €5-€10 for the ride to the camp.
Taxi
If you are already in Žabljak and prefer a direct route, you can hire a taxi to Katun Camp Durmitor. Taxis are readily available in town, and the journey will take about 10-15 minutes. The fare should be around €5-€10 depending on the time of day and the taxi service.
