From Durmitor National Park, head southeast on E65 towards Nikšić. Drive for approximately 25 km until you reach the town of Nikšić. From Nikšić, continue on the E762 road for about 40 km until you see signs for Ostrog Monastery. Turn right onto the M2 road and follow the signs for the monastery, which will be about 10 km ahead. Parking is available near the monastery, but be mindful of local parking regulations. Note that there may be a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Ostrog Monastery by public transportation, take a bus from Durmitor to Nikšić. Buses run regularly from the Durmitor area to Nikšić, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Nikšić, transfer to a local bus heading to the Ostrog Monastery. The bus ride from Nikšić to the monastery takes about 30 minutes.
