From Komovi, head southwest on the main road (E65) towards the town of Nikšić. After approximately 30 km, you will come across the junction for the M6 highway. Merge onto the M6 highway towards Šavnik. Continue on the M6 for about 25 km until you reach the town of Šavnik. Once in Šavnik, follow the signs to Piva Monastery. The monastery is located approximately 15 km from Šavnik. The final stretch of the road may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. The coordinates for Piva Monastery are approximately 43.11° N, 18.8183° E.

From Komovi, take a local bus to the town of Nikšić. Buses run several times a day and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Nikšić, transfer to a bus heading to Šavnik.
