Car
If you're driving, start in Kotor town. Take the main road (E80) towards Perast. Once you reach Perast, look for signs directing you to the Church of Our Lady of Škrpjela. You may need to park in one of the public parking areas in Perast, as parking near the church can be limited. The church is located on an island, so you'll need to take a short boat ride from Perast to reach it. Boat rides typically cost around 3-5 euros per person.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Kotor to Perast. Buses leave regularly from the Kotor bus station and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Perast, follow the signs to the waterfront and find the boat service to the Church of Our Lady of Škrpjela. The boat ride costs approximately 3-5 euros per person and takes about 10 minutes. Ensure to check the return schedule for the boats back to Perast to avoid being stranded.
Walking
If you're in Perast, you can easily walk to the waterfront where boats depart for the Church of Our Lady of Škrpjela. The walk from the bus stop to the waterfront is approximately 5-10 minutes. Be sure to take in the beautiful views of Kotor Bay as you walk. Once at the waterfront, purchase a ticket for the boat ride to the church.
