Kampana Tower: A Historic Sentinel Over Kotor

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Kotor Old Town entrance, which is marked by the North Gate. From there, walk straight down the main street, called Njegoševa Street. Continue walking until you reach the large square known as Trg od Oružja (Weapons Square). Once there, you should see the Church of St. Nicholas on your left. As you face the church, turn right and head towards the southern end of the square. You will see a small alley called Kovačka Ulica. Take this alley and walk straight; Kampana Tower will be on your left at the address 420, Kotor 85330, Montenegro.

• Public Transport (Local Bus)

  If you are in a different part of Kotor and want to take a local bus, head to the main bus station located near the Old Town. Check the schedule and board a bus heading towards the Kotor Old Town area. Once you arrive at the Old Town bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the North Gate entrance. From there, follow the same walking directions as previously described, heading down Njegoševa Street and reaching Trg od Oružja, then following Kovačka Ulica to reach Kampana Tower.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a taxi. Taxis are available throughout Kotor. Simply tell the driver 'Kampana Tower' or show them the address: 420, Kotor 85330, Montenegro. They will drop you off near the Old Town entrance. From there, you can easily walk to the Kampana Tower as described previously.
