Boat
To reach Prevlaka Island from Kotor, start by making your way to the Kotor waterfront. Head towards the main promenade along the bay, which is lined with cafes and shops. Look for the small boat docks, where you can find local water taxis and tour boats. Purchase a ticket for a boat that is heading towards Prevlaka Island. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes and will provide stunning views of the Bay of Kotor. Be sure to check the schedule as boats may not run frequently.
Walking and Ferry
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can walk to the nearby town of Perast. From Kotor, follow the coastal road (it’s about a 30-minute walk) towards Perast. Once you arrive in Perast, look for the ferry service that operates between Perast and Prevlaka Island. This ferry will take you directly to the island. Be sure to check the ferry schedule for departure times, as they can vary.
