Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kotor, head towards the Old Town. Enter the Old Town through the Sea Gate (Gradska vrata). Once inside, navigate to the main square, Trg od Oruzja. From there, take the exit at the northwest corner of the square, which leads to the stairs going up the fortress. Follow the path that leads up the hill, marked by signs pointing towards St. John's Fortress. As you ascend, enjoy the views of Kotor and the surrounding area.

Continue following the path up to the fortress. You will reach a point where you can see the fortifications and the stunning landscape. At this point, you can take a break, as the views are impressive. From here, keep following the signs for the path to Špiljari, which will lead you down towards the village.

Once you reach the village of Špiljari, you will see signs indicating the direction to Skurda Canyon. Follow the trail that leads you away from the village and down towards the canyon. The path may be rocky, so be cautious. Keep walking, and you will eventually arrive at the entrance of Skurda Canyon.
