Walking
From the Old Town of Kotor, head towards the main square, Trg od Oružja. Once there, locate the large clock tower. From the clock tower, walk straight towards the waterfront, passing through the narrow streets with shops and cafes. When you reach the waterfront promenade, turn left and walk along the coast until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, you can catch a local bus to Herceg Novi. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Herceg Novi, disembark at the final stop. From there, walk towards the coast, and you will see Forte Mare Fortress across the small bridge on your left.

Start at the main bus station in Kotor, which is located near the waterfront. Purchase a ticket to Herceg Novi at the ticket counter or from the driver. Buses to Herceg Novi run frequently throughout the day. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Herceg Novi, exit the station and walk towards the coast. You will see Forte Mare Fortress across the small bridge on the north side. It is a short walk from the bus station.
