Walking
Start your journey at the Kotor Old Town entrance, which is marked by the main gate. From here, walk straight through the old cobblestone streets towards the central square (Trg od Oružja). Once you reach the square, look for the stairs leading up to the city walls, located to the right of the square. Follow the stairs, which will take you up alongside the walls. The ascent will be steep, but there are resting spots along the way to enjoy the beautiful views of Kotor and the bay.

If you are near the Maritime Museum in Kotor, head towards the Old Town. As you enter through the Sea Gate, continue straight until you reach the main square (Trg od Oružja). From the square, take the stairs on the right side that lead up to the city walls. Keep following the path upwards, and you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the area as you climb.

From the Kotor bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (M2). Turn left and continue walking until you reach the Old Town entrance. Enter through the main gate, and once inside, make your way to the central square (Trg od Oružja). The stairs to the city walls will be on your right.
