Starting from the Old Town of Kotor, head towards the northern exit of the town, which is marked by the North Gate (or 'Northern Gate'). Once you exit through the gate, you will find a steep path leading up the hillside. Follow this path as it winds upwards. The path is paved and has several switchbacks, making it easier to climb. Continue walking along this path, and you will eventually see the entrance to Kotor Fortress ahead.
