Walking
From the Old Town of Kotor, head east on the main street called Njegoševa. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the street at a small intersection. You'll see the Kotor Fortress entrance on your left and a sign for Ulica 1 on your right. Turn right onto Ulica 1. Follow this road uphill for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass a few local houses and beautiful views of Kotor Bay. The Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery will be on your left side, just off the main path, marked by some old stone walls and a small clearing.

Hiking
For a more adventurous route, start from the Old Town and take the path leading up towards the Kotor Fortress. Follow the trail that goes up the mountain, which is well marked and offers stunning views. After reaching the fortress, continue past it and descend towards Ulica 1. This path takes about 30-40 minutes but will lead you directly to the Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery. Look for the ruins on your left as you head down the trail.
