Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Kotor Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (M-1). Follow the M-1 road towards the Old Town, which is clearly visible as you approach. You'll pass through a small park area with some benches and trees. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the Old Town, marked by the Sea Gate (Morska Vrata). This is the main entrance to Стари Град Котор.

    If you're at the Kotor Marina, exit the marina area and head toward the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade toward the Sea Gate (Morska Vrata). As you approach the gate, you’ll notice the large stone walls of the Old Town. Enter through the Sea Gate, and you will find yourself in Стари Град Котор.

    From the main square in Kotor (Trg od Oruzja), walk towards the north side of the square. Look for the clock tower, and continue walking straight until you reach the fortified walls. The entrance to Стари Град Kotor is just ahead. It is a short walk, taking about 5-10 minutes.
