Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Perast, head towards the waterfront. Walk along the shoreline promenade until you reach the small harbor area. From there, you will need to take a local boat service to Cavtat. The boat station is located near the church of Saint Nicholas. Once you arrive in Cavtat, follow the waterfront promenade until you see the signs directing you towards the town center. Continue along the main road until you reach Svetog Nikole Street. Turn right onto Svetog Nikole Street, and the Shell Museum will be on your left at number 6.

To reach the Glossus Humanus, Shell Museum in Cavtat from Perast, first make your way to the jetty where the boats to Cavtat depart. You can find this jetty near the center of Perast. Purchase a ticket for the boat that goes directly to Cavtat. The boat ride offers beautiful views of the coastline and takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Cavtat harbor, exit the boat and walk straight towards the main road. Follow the road until you reach Svetog Nikole Street, then turn left. The museum is located at number 6 on your right.
