Walking
From the center of Perast, head towards the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus stop. From there, take the local bus towards Kotor. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will be able to enjoy the scenic views of the bay. Once you arrive in Kotor, get off at the Kotor Main Bus Station. From the bus station, walk towards the Old Town. Follow the signs pointing to the Old Town entrance; it should take about 10-15 minutes. Once inside the Old Town, head towards the River Gate (North Gate), which is located on the northern side of the Old Town walls.
Boat
From Perast, make your way to the local boat dock located along the waterfront. Look for boats heading to Kotor, which run regularly throughout the day. The boat ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kotor port, disembark and walk straight into the Old Town. After entering the Old Town, follow the path leading to the northern entrance, which will lead you to the River Gate (North Gate).
