From the center of Perast, head east along the waterfront promenade (Obala). Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade. You will see a small path leading up to the main road. Turn left onto the main road (M-1) and follow the signs towards Budva. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a bus stop. Here, you can catch a local bus towards Budva. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes.

Once you arrive at the bus stop in Perast, board the bus heading to Budva. Ensure to tell the driver your destination. The bus will make several stops along the way, and it is advisable to keep an eye on the landmarks to know when you are nearing Budva. After about 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the main bus station in Budva. Upon exiting the bus, head towards the main road and take a right.

After getting off the bus in Budva, walk straight along the main road (Jadranski put) for about 400 meters. You will see signs for the Church of Sveti Ivan. Continue walking until you reach the old town area of Budva. The Church of Sveti Ivan is located near the central square of the old town, which is easily recognizable by its stone walls and quaint shops.
