Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Plav, which is a common base for visitors to Prokletije National Park. From Plav, take the road towards Gusinje. After approximately 12 km, you will reach the village of Gusinje. Continue on the road for another 5 km until you reach the entrance to the National Park, where you may need to pay a small fee (around 2-5 EUR) for entry. Once inside the park, follow the signs directing you to the Bobotov Kuk trailhead, which is located near the village of Buniće. The drive from Gusinje to the trailhead will take around 30 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from the city of Podgorica to Gusinje. Buses run several times a day and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Gusinje, you can either hike to the Bobotov Kuk trailhead, which is about 5 km away, or arrange for a local taxi to take you to the trailhead. Expect to pay around 10-15 EUR for the taxi.
