Car

If you are driving from the nearest major town, Gusinje, head southeast on E80 for approximately 13 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Mrtvica. Turn left onto the local road marked for Mrtvica, which will take you into the Prokletije National Park area. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach a parking area near the entrance to the Mrtvica canyon. Be aware that the road may be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously.

Public Transportation

From Gusinje, take a local bus heading towards the village of Plav. Buses run several times a day, and tickets typically cost around 1-3 euros. Once you arrive in Plav, you can either hire a taxi (approximately 10-15 euros) to take you to the Mrtvica canyon entrance or seek out a local guide who may offer transportation as part of their service.

Hiking

Once you reach the parking area or the canyon entrance, you will need to hike approximately 1-2 kilometers to fully experience Mrtvica.
