The final approach may involve some unpaved roads, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is available near the canyon entrance. Note that there may be a cost for parking, typically around 2-5 EUR.

To reach Tara Canyon by public transportation, take a bus from Podgorica or Nikšić to Žabljak. Buses run frequently throughout the day.
