If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Žabljak, which is the closest major town to Tara Canyon. Take the road towards Šavnik and continue on the M6 highway for approximately 30 km. Look for signs towards Tara Canyon or Ograđenica. Once you reach Ograđenica, follow the signs to the canyon. The final approach may involve some unpaved roads, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is available near the canyon entrance.
