Getting There

• Walking

  From the Old Town of Budva, head towards the main street called Slovenska Obala. Walk along this street until you reach the bus station. Once there, look for a bus to Podgorica, which is approximately a 1-hour ride. After arriving at the Podgorica bus station, exit and head towards the main road, Boulevard of Revolution. From there, use a local bus or taxi to reach the Blažo Jovanović Bridge. The bridge is located in the city center, so you can ask locals for directions or use a map application to guide you.

• Public Transportation

  From Budva, find the local bus station located near the center. Purchase a ticket to Podgorica, and board the bus. The journey takes about an hour. Upon arriving at the Podgorica bus station, you can take a taxi or a local bus. If you choose a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Blažo Jovanović Bridge.' If you prefer the bus, look for the number 5 or 6 that heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop nearest to the bridge; it is a well-known landmark, so locals can help if needed.

  If you prefer a direct route, you can take a taxi from Budva to Podgorica. Simply find a taxi service or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once in Podgorica, tell the driver to take you to the Blažo Jovanović Bridge, which is a significant landmark in the city. Taxis are relatively affordable and convenient, especially if you are traveling in a group.
