From Zeta Plain, head northeast on the main road towards the town of Nikšić. Continue for about 40 kilometers until you reach the intersection at Nikšić. Here, follow the signs for Žabljak, which is the main town adjacent to Durmitor National Park. After approximately 60 kilometers of driving from Nikšić, you will arrive in Žabljak. From Žabljak, Durmitor National Park is easily accessible. You can enter the park from multiple points, but the most popular entrance is just a few kilometers from the town center. Ensure you have cash ready for entrance fees, which are around €3 per person.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to travel by public transportation, start by taking a bus from Zeta Plain to Nikšić. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Once in Nikšić, you will need to transfer to a bus heading to Žabljak. The bus journey from Nikšić to Žabljak will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Žabljak, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the nearest entrance of Durmitor National Park. Taxi fares from the bus station to the park entrance may vary but expect to pay around €5 to €10.
