Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Zeta River Valley. Follow the main road towards the town of Nikšić. Look for highway signs for the M-2 road, which leads towards the direction of the Lipa Cave. After approximately 20 km, you'll see signs for Lipa Cave. Take the exit and follow the local road, which will lead you directly to the cave entrance. There is a parking area available near the cave entrance, and parking is typically free.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus station in Zeta River Valley to Nikšić. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nikšić bus station, you can catch a local taxi to Lipa Cave. Taxis are readily available outside the bus station, and the fare should be around 10-15 euros for the short ride to the cave. It is advisable to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

Walking from Parking Area

After arriving at the cave's parking area (if you traveled by car), you will need to walk a short distance to reach the cave entrance. The path is well-marked and takes about 5-10 minutes on foot. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven. If you are using public transportation and a taxi, the taxi will drop you off right at the entrance, so no additional walking is required.
