Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the famous Kasbah, head south on Rue de la Kasbah toward Rue Ahmed El Mnasri. Continue straight until you reach Place El Haouta, which will be on your left. The walk should take about 10 minutes.

    From the Chefchaouen bus station (Gare Routière), exit the station and turn left onto Avenue Hassan II. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the main square (Place Uta el-Hammam). From there, continue walking straight towards Rue El Makhzen, and you'll find Place El Haouta on your right.

    If you are near the Grand Mosque, exit and turn left onto Rue Targui. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Rue El Haouta. Turn right on Rue El Haouta, and the plaza will be on your left.

    From Plaza Moulay Ismail, walk towards Rue Targui and take a left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue El Haouta. Turn right, and you will see Place El Haouta ahead of you.
