Getting There
Walking
From the central Plaza Uta el-Hammam in Chefchaouen, head east on Rue Ahmed Hajji. After about 200 meters, turn left onto Rue Targui. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Talassemtane National Park. This is the starting point for the hike to Jebel El-Kelaa Summit. Make sure to carry water and snacks as it can take several hours to reach the summit.
Hiking
Once you enter the Talassemtane National Park, follow the marked trails towards Jebel El-Kelaa. The path is well-defined, but be prepared for some steep sections. After about 1.5 to 2 hours of hiking, you will reach a viewpoint where you can see the surrounding mountains. Continue on the path for another hour until you reach the summit of Jebel El-Kelaa. The total hiking time from the park entrance to the summit is approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on your pace.
