Getting There

    From the central square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, head east towards Rue Hassan I. Continue straight; you will pass several shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes, you will see the entrance to the Medina on your left. Look for the large archway with colorful tiles.

    If you are starting from the Chefchaouen Kasbah, exit the Kasbah and turn left onto Rue Targui. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the main road. Turn right, and the Medina will be directly ahead. Follow the signs that lead you into the Medina area.

    From the bus station in Chefchaouen, head west on Avenue Mohammed V. Continue for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the main square. From there, follow the directions to Plaza Uta el-Hammam as mentioned above.

    If you are near the Ras El Maa waterfall, walk back towards the town. Head towards the main road, and then turn left to find Rue Hassan I. Follow this road directly to the Medina entrance.
