If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Doukkala-Abda and head towards Marrakech. Utilize the A7 highway, which connects various cities in the region to Marrakech. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you approach Marrakech, follow signs for 'Centre Ville' or 'Medina'. Upon entering the city, use your GPS or a map app to navigate to Koutoubia Mosque located at latitude 31.6237205 and longitude -7.9936196. There is parking available nearby, but it can be limited, so plan accordingly.

Public Transportation (Bus)

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Doukkala-Abda to Marrakech. Buses are available at various terminals in the region, such as El Jadida or Safi. The journey to Marrakech takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Marrakech bus station, you can take a taxi or walk towards Koutoubia Mosque. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station to the mosque. If you choose to take a taxi, expect to pay around 20-30 MAD for the short ride.

Public Transportation (Train)

You can also consider taking a train from nearby towns like El Jadida or Safi to Marrakech. The train service is comfortable and relatively fast, taking around 1.5 hours.
