Walking
If you are starting from the Essaouira medina, exit through one of the main gates, such as Bab Marrakech. Once outside, head straight along Avenue Mohammed Zerktouni. You will pass several shops and cafes on your right. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach Bab Doukkala, which is located on your left. Look for the large archway that marks the entrance.
Taxi
From your location in Essaouira, you can hail a taxi to Bab Doukkala. Simply tell the driver 'Bab Doukkala' or show them the address 'Avenue Mohammed Zerktouni.' The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of Bab Doukkala.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in the medina. Head out of the medina towards Avenue Mohammed Zerktouni. Once on the avenue, cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Bab Doukkala will be on your left. Be mindful of pedestrians and local traffic as you ride.
