Getting There

    If you are starting from the Medina of Fes, make your way to the main square, Place Bou Jeloud. From there, head north towards the main road, Avenue Hassan II. Follow this road, and you will see signs for Bab Ftouh. It's about a 15-minute walk. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Rue de la Kasbah. Bab Ftouh will be on your right side, just before you reach the entrance to the old city walls.

    If you are near the Royal Palace, head towards the entrance gate of the palace. From the palace, walk east on Rue du Palais. Keep walking straight, and you will come to a large intersection. Cross the intersection onto Rue de Bab Ftouh. Follow this street as it curves slightly to the left, and you will see Bab Ftouh in front of you. This route takes about 10 minutes.

    From the Fes El Bali area, make your way to Rue Talaa Kebira, one of the main streets. Walk towards the Bab Boujloud gate. Once you reach the gate, take a right and walk along Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight until you see the signs for Bab Ftouh. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk from this point.
