Walking
From anywhere in Fes el Bali, head towards the main thoroughfare, Talaa Kebira. This street is usually bustling with activity. Follow Talaa Kebira until you reach the intersection with Talaa Seghira. Continue straight, and you will notice the entrance to Fez Medina. Look for signs that indicate the direction towards 15 Derb Bennani, which is located within the Medina. Expect to walk approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point.
Local Taxi (Petit Taxi)
If you prefer not to walk, you can easily hail a local taxi. Look for the blue 'Petit Taxi' cars, which are usually available throughout Fes el Bali. Tell the driver '15 Derb Bennani' or simply say 'Fez Medina'. Ensure that the driver uses the meter; the ride should cost around 15-20 MAD (Moroccan Dirham) depending on traffic. The journey will take about 5-10 minutes.
Bike Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bike from one of the local shops in Fes el Bali. Once you have your bike, head towards Talaa Kebira and follow the same route as if walking. Biking through the narrow streets can be an exciting way to experience the local culture. Make sure to park your bike securely near the Medina entrance. The cost for bike rental is usually around 30 MAD per hour.
