If you are starting from the Fes el-Bali (the old medina), head towards the main street leading to Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate). Once you reach Bab Boujloud, continue straight along Rue Talaa Kebira. After about 10 minutes, you will come to a fork; take the left path onto Rue Talaa Sghira. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Rue des Merinides. Turn left and follow this road, which will lead you to the Semmarin Medina Gate. Look out for the gate on your right; it is located at coordinates 34.0542461, -4.9900459999999995.

Starting from the Place Boujloud (the square in front of Bab Boujloud), head southeast towards Rue des Merinides. Walk straight for about 15 minutes. You will notice several local shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Rue Talaa Kebira, turn right. Continue until you see the Semmarin Medina Gate on your left, just a short walk from the intersection.
