Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Haouz, take Route de Sidi Abdelaziz towards Marrakech. Continue on this road for approximately 15-20 minutes. You'll know you're close when you see signs for Marrakech. Fondouk el BAcha is located in the Medina area of Marrakech on Route de Sidi Abdelaziz. Look for the entrance as you approach, and be aware that parking can be limited in the Medina, so plan to park in a nearby public parking lot if necessary.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Fondouk el BAcha by bus, find the nearest bus stop in Haouz that services routes to Marrakech. Look for buses heading towards the city center. The fare is usually around 10-20 MAD (Moroccan Dirhams). Once you arrive at the main bus station in Marrakech, you can either walk to Fondouk el BAcha, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local taxi to your destination. If walking, head towards Route de Sidi Abdelaziz, and follow the signs to the Medina.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, hiring a taxi from Haouz to Fondouk el BAcha is a good option. Taxis can be found throughout the area, and the fare should be negotiated beforehand. Expect to pay around 100-150 MAD for the journey, which will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Route de Sidi Abdelaziz in the Medina.

• Walking

  Once you are in the Medina area of Marrakech, Fondouk el BAcha is accessible by walking. The area is known for its narrow streets, so be prepared to navigate through local shops and stalls. From the nearest landmark, such as Jemaa el-Fnaa, head west towards Route de Sidi Abdelaziz. Fondouk el BAcha is located directly on this road, and you should look for the historical landmark signs.
