Getting There

    If you are in the city center of Marrakech, start at the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. From there, walk towards the Koutoubia Mosque, which is a prominent landmark. Once you reach the mosque, head west towards Avenue Mohammed VI. Continue walking along this avenue for about 30 minutes until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Avenue de la Palmeraie. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Palmeraie.

    Continue along Avenue de la Palmeraie for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass by several palm trees and beautiful landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Musée de la Palmeraie. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will come across the entrance to the museum on your left.

  • Public Transport

    From Jemaa el-Fnaa, you can also take a local bus (Bus number 19) towards the Palmeraie area. The bus stop is located near the square. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop named 'Palmeraie.' From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head towards Avenue de la Palmeraie and follow the signs to the museum.

    If you prefer to use a taxi, you can easily find one near Jemaa el-Fnaa. Make sure to negotiate the fare to Musée de la Palmeraie before getting in, as taxis in Marrakech do not always use a meter. The drive should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
