From the heart of Gueliz, head south on Avenue Mohammed V. Continue walking straight for about 1 km. You will pass by the famous Koutoubia Mosque on your left. Keep walking until you reach the large traffic intersection at Avenue El Mouahidine. Cross the intersection and continue on Avenue Mohammed VI. Follow the road as it curves left into Rue El Ksour, which leads directly to Jemaa el-Fnaa.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a petite taxi from anywhere in Gueliz to Jemaa el-Fnaa. Look for a taxi and make sure it has a meter. The fare should be around 20-30 MAD ($2-3 USD) depending on your exact location. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes. When you get in, simply tell the driver 'Jemaa el-Fnaa' (they usually understand this popular landmark).

Another option is to take the public bus. Look for Bus No. 1, which connects Gueliz to Jemaa el-Fnaa. You can catch this bus at various points in Gueliz, like the main square at Place du 16 Novembre. The bus fare is very economical, costing around 4 MAD (about $0.40 USD). The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Jemaa el-Fnaa stop, which is right at the entrance to the square.
