Our Guide Rachid was very patient, very knowledgeable and at our request showed us the heart of Marrakech, avoiding the “touristy spots”. His confident knowledge of the history of Marrakech and of Morocco was excellent and enlightening, told always from an impartial and often humorous point of view. We spent almost an entire day weaving our way through back streets, squares, shops, anrtisan and craft markets, and had interesting glimpses into everyday life in Marrakech.
