Walking
From the central square, Jemaa el-Fnaa, head northwest towards the Koutoubia Mosque. Once you reach the mosque, continue walking straight along Rue de la Koutoubia. After about 5 minutes, you will come to a crossroads. Turn left onto Rue de Bab Agnaou. Continue walking for another 10 minutes, passing through small alleyways and local shops. Bahia Palace will be on your right side, just before you reach the entrance to the Mellah (Jewish Quarter).
Walking with a guide
If you prefer, you can hire a local guide at Jemaa el-Fnaa or any nearby location in Medina. The guide can lead you through the winding streets of the Medina to Bahia Palace, providing insights into the history and culture of the area. Expect to pay around 100-200 MAD for a short guided tour to Bahia Palace.
Public Transport (Bus)
Although public buses are available, they are not recommended for reaching Bahia Palace due to the complexity of the routes and the potential for confusion. If you choose to use public transport, take Bus 1 from the nearest bus stop to your location in the Medina. However, you will still need to walk approximately 15 minutes from the bus stop to reach the palace. Given the proximity of Bahia Palace, walking is the easiest and most convenient option.
