By Car
From Moulouya, start by heading southwest on the main road towards the town of Beni Mellal. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (around 100 km). Once you reach Beni Mellal, follow the signs towards the N8 highway heading to Azilal. After about 30 km on the N8, you will see signs for Gorges de l'oued Ahansal. Take the exit and follow the local roads to the gorges, which are roughly 20 km from the N8 turnoff.
By Bus
From Moulouya, take a bus to Beni Mellal, which is the nearest large town. The bus ride may take around 2 hours and costs approximately 30-50 MAD. Upon arriving in Beni Mellal, you will need to transfer to another bus headed towards Azilal. This bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Finally, once in Azilal, hire a taxi or look for a local bus that goes to Gorges de l'oued Ahansal. Make sure to confirm the taxi fare before starting the journey to avoid overcharging.
By Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route and are willing to spend a bit more, consider hiring a taxi from Moulouya to Gorges de l'oued Ahansal. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. The cost will vary depending on negotiation, but expect to pay around 600-800 MAD for a one-way trip. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
