Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Sais, head southwest on Avenue Mohammed V toward Rue de la Kasbah. Continue straight until you reach the main road. Merge onto N1 heading toward Essaouira. Follow signs for Essaouira and continue for about an hour and a half. Once you arrive in Essaouira, look for signs leading to the Kasbah area. Find parking near Rue Tetouan, as the streets in the Kasbah can be narrow and crowded. From the parking, walk to 4 Rue Tetouan, where Gallery Kasbah is located.

• Bus

  To reach Gallery Kasbah by bus from Sais, take a bus from Sais to Essaouira. There are several bus companies operating this route; you can check schedules at the local bus station. The journey typically takes around 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at the Essaouira bus station, take a taxi (approximately 20-30 MAD) or walk to the Kasbah area. If you opt for walking, head northwest toward Avenue de l'Indépendance, then make your way to Rue Tetouan. Gallery Kasbah will be at 4 Rue Tetouan.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Sais to Essaouira. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should range from 500 to 700 MAD depending on your negotiation skills. Once you arrive in Essaouira, ask the driver to drop you off at the Kasbah area. From there, it’s a short walk to 4 Rue Tetouan where Gallery Kasbah is located.

• Walking

  If you are already in Essaouira and close to the Kasbah area, you can walk to Gallery Kasbah. From the main square (Place Moulay Hassan), head southwest towards Rue de la Kasbah. Continue straight until you reach Rue Tetouan. Turn right onto Rue Tetouan, and the gallery will be on your left at number 4.
