If you are driving from Sais to Koutoubia in Marrakech, head south on Route N8 toward Marrakech. Follow the road for approximately 200 kilometers until you reach the city. Once you are in Marrakech, look for signs directing you to the Medina area. Upon entering the Medina, use your GPS to navigate to the Koutoubia Mosque, which is located at coordinates 31.6237205, -7.9936196. There is limited parking around the Medina, so be prepared to park in nearby lots, which may cost around 10-20 MAD per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Koutoubia from Sais using public transportation, first take a bus or taxi to the nearest train station in Fez. From there, board a train to Marrakech, which typically takes about 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Marrakech, exit the train station and take a taxi or a local bus to the Medina. Ask the driver to take you to Koutoubia Mosque. The taxi fare from the train station to Koutoubia should be around 20-30 MAD. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

If you are already in the Medina of Marrakech after arriving via train or bus, Koutoubia is within walking distance from many popular areas. From Jemaa el-Fnaa square, head west towards the mosque; it is clearly visible from the square due to its towering minaret. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.
