    If you are in the city center of Tangier, head towards the Avenue Mohammed VI. Walk straight down this avenue until you reach the coastal road, Boulevard de la République. Turn left onto Boulevard de la République, and continue walking until you see signs for Merkala Beach. The beach is about a 30-minute walk from the center.
