If you are in the center of Tangier, start at the Grand Socco (Place du 9 Avril). From the Grand Socco, head southeast toward Rue de la Liberté. Walk along Rue de la Liberté until you reach the intersection with Rue d'Italie. Take a right on Rue d'Italie. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Medina. Enter the Medina through the main gate. Once inside, follow the winding alleys and keep an eye for signs directing you to Place Petit Socco. After about 5-10 minutes of walking through the Medina, you will arrive at Place Petit Socco, a lively square surrounded by cafes and shops.

From Tangier's main bus station (Gare Routière), take any bus heading toward the city center. You should ask the driver to drop you off at the Grand Socco (Place du 9 Avril). Once you get off at the Grand Socco, head southeast along Rue de la Liberté, then take a right onto Rue d'Italie. Enter the Medina through the main gate and follow the winding alleys for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Place Petit Socco.
