Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the central place in Taroudant, the Place Assouel, head west on Avenue Moulay Ismail. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue Mohammed V. Turn right onto Avenue Mohammed V and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will notice the walls of the medina on your left. Continue walking until you reach Bab Lahjer, which is marked as F4FG+RWM on most maps, just ahead on your left.

    If you are near the Souk, exit the market and head towards Rue Ibn Sina. Walk straight along Rue Ibn Sina, which will turn into Avenue Moulay Abdellah. Continue walking for about 750 meters until you reach the main intersection with Avenue Mohammed V. Turn left onto Avenue Mohammed V and proceed for another 300 meters; Bab Lahjer will be on your left, identifiable by its distinct architecture.

    From the Kasbah of Taroudant, exit the Kasbah and head towards Avenue Al Mouahidine. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach Avenue Mohammed V.
