Walking
If you are starting from the center of Tetouan, head towards Avenue Mohamed V. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue Hassan II. Turn left onto Avenue Hassan II and continue walking until you reach the bus station (Gare Routière de Tetouan). From there, take a shared taxi (also known as a 'taxi collectif') towards Chefchaouen. The fare is usually around 25 MAD per person. The taxi will drop you off in Chefchaouen near the main square (Place Outa el Hammam). From the square, follow the signs towards Derb El Assri, which is located a short walk away in the direction of the blue streets. Look for the blue and white buildings; Derb El Assri is known for its picturesque views.
Public Transport
To reach Chefchaouen from Tetouan, you can take a bus from the main bus station (Gare Routière de Tetouan). Buses to Chefchaouen leave regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, you will need to walk to Derb El Assri. Exit the bus station and head towards Place Outa el Hammam. From the square, ask locals for directions to Derb El Assri, as it is a popular tourist area and they can guide you. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, disembark at Place Outa el Hammam. From there, follow the narrow streets towards Derb El Assri, which is a short walk away.
