Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Zaër, head southwest on Route N1 towards Rabat. Continue on N1 for approximately 20 km. Once you enter Rabat, follow signs for the Agdal-Ryad area. Turn onto Av. Ibn Khaldoun, where the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco is located at this address: Av. Ibn Khaldoun, Rabat. Parking may be available nearby but check local signs for restrictions.

• Bus

  Catch a local bus from Zaër to Rabat. Look for buses heading towards Rabat and board one that stops at the Agdal-Ryad area. The fare is typically around 10-15 MAD. Once in Rabat, disembark at the nearest stop to Av. Ibn Khaldoun and walk to the National Library, which should be a short 10-minute walk.

• Taxi

  You can take a taxi directly from Zaër to the National Library in Rabat. This is the most convenient option but may be more expensive, costing around 150-200 MAD depending on your negotiation skills. The taxi will take you directly to Av. Ibn Khaldoun, where the library is located.

• Tram

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a train from Zaër to Rabat Ville station. From there, transfer to the tram system (Line 1) and get off at the Agdal stop. Walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the National Library on Av. Ibn Khaldoun. The train fare to Rabat Ville is about 30 MAD, and tram tickets typically cost around 7 MAD.
