    Boat Transfer

    To reach Kanimambo Lodge, you will first need to take a boat transfer from Maputo to Inhaca Island. You can catch a ferry from the Maputo Waterfront, which operates regularly throughout the day. The ferry ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes and costs around 100-150 MZN (Mozambican Metical) for a one-way ticket. Ensure you check the schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.

    Walking

    Once you arrive at Inhaca Island, disembark at the main dock. From there, Kanimambo Lodge is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the dock. You can walk along the main path leading from the dock towards the lodge. The path is well-trodden, and you can ask locals for directions. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes.

    Local Transport

    If you prefer not to walk, you can also hire a local tuk-tuk or bicycle for a quicker transfer to Kanimambo Lodge. Tuk-tuks are commonly available near the dock and can take you directly to the lodge for about 50-100 MZN. Agree on the fare before starting your ride.
