If you're traveling by car, start from central Maputo. Head south on Avenida 24 de Julho towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida da Marginal. Turn right onto Avenida da Marginal, which runs along the coastline. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers, and you will see signs for Maputo Bay. There are several viewpoints and areas to park along the way, so feel free to stop and enjoy the scenery.

To reach Maputo Bay via public transportation, take a minibus (chapas) from central Maputo. Look for chapas heading towards 'Catembe'. The main terminal is located near the Avenida 24 de Julho. Once you board the chapa, pay a fare of about 10-20 MZN (Mozambican Meticais). The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Catembe, you can walk to the beach area of Maputo Bay, which is easily accessible. Look out for signs or ask locals for directions.
