From the central market area, find a minibus heading towards Costa do Sol. Board the minibus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach Mercado de Peixe. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, follow the crowd towards the waterfront where the market is located.

If you are renting a bicycle, start at Praça da Independência and head east on Avenida 24 de Julho. This route will take you directly towards the coast.
