Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Old Bagan area, head east on the main road towards the Ananda Temple. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Nyaung U road. Turn right onto Nyaung U road and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several smaller pagodas and local shops. Keep an eye out for the large Dhammayazaka Pagoda, which is located on your left side just after you cross the small canal.

Bicycle
From Nyaung U, rent a bicycle and head south towards Old Bagan. Ride along the main road towards the Ananda Temple, which is a well-known landmark. Once you reach Ananda Temple, continue straight on the same road until you hit the intersection with Nyaung U road. Turn right and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. The Dhammayazaka Pagoda will be on your left, visible from the road.
